Something different from another paint night.

Carving stone is something most people have never tried. That is the point. You start with a plain piece of soapstone and work it into your own shape with simple tools and sandpaper.

People often leave saying they never thought they could do it. Michael's own rule for every workshop: leave your can't at the door.

Unique Soapstone Experiences is a contemporary, hands-on creative workshop based in Cochrane, Alberta. It is not a traditional, Indigenous or Inuit cultural program.
